Mastercam X2 - Handbook Volume 3

In house Solutions

The Mastercam Handbooks have been developed and tested for years as part of a course to teach machinists how to use Mastercam.  There are currently three volumes available: Volume 1: 2D Modeling and Machining, 3D Modeling and Machining, Volume 3: Multi-axis Machining.

These books can be used as the primary textbook for a college or trade school-level course, as a self-study guide, or as a practical shop reference.

A unique feature of the Handbooks is their comprehensive, top-down approach to learning. Concept and essential knowledge are included along with practical applications. This approach provides you with a depth of knowledge and understanding that you will not find anywhere else.

Knowing not only how things work, but why, is powerful. You'll know the best approaches to a problem. You'll work smarter and faster than ever. What's more, you'll have a foundation of knowledge and understanding that will allow you to grow and adapt as technology advances.

If you are experienced with surface machining, mutiaxis machining is no more difficult than transitioning from basic tool paths to surfaces - if you know the fundamental concepts that make multiaxis setups and programming different.

The Mastercam Handbook Volume 3 includes over 230 pages packed with hundreds of graphic illustrations, exercises, and practical examples that will help you become proficient programming multiaxis machines with Mastercam. A CD with exercises and examples is included so you will gain practical experience that would take years to accumulate on the job.
